It’s worthwhile for those on the left and on the right to consume news from a broad spectrum. LC- The Oregonian Facebook Share Readers frequently send me links to their favorite news sources, asking why The Oregonian/OregonLive is not reporting this or that national story. Often, my answer is that in our newsroom we are focused on local news readers cannot get anywhere else. In fact, our Subscriber Exclusive stories are just that – in-depth local journalism found only on OregonLive.
