It was implemented in the 2000s, long before the NDP was in power. This was the work of the then Conservative government. That curriculum was written around the process of inquiry, where students answer questions and solve problems based on facts and observations, not “discovery” that Glubish mentions in his column. Questioning is the root of true learning that extends beyond rote memorization.
