Libraries are scaling back 12/9/20 6:37 PM The Johnson County Public Library will restrict services after the county moved to the most serious category of COVID-19 spread. Johnson County is one of 36 Indiana counties in "red," according to the state’s metrics, meaning a positivity rate of at least 15%. The county’s 7-day positivity rate through Sunday was 15.7%. In response, library branches are closing their doors to the general public, with the exception of 30-minute computer appointments, which must be booked in advance, either at pageafterpage.org or by calling a library branch, said Jody Veldkamp, the library system’s marketing and communications manager.
