Bloomberg MAYOR BLASTS FEDERAL VACCINE DISTRIBUTION: As the first health care workers to get vaccinated in Chicago received their second rounds of COVID-19 shots, Mayor Lori Lightfoot chided the feds for its slow vaccination rollout during a visit to Norwegian American Hospital. More than 20,000 people at 35 Chicago hospitals are expected to get their second and final COVID-19 vaccine doses this week. Additionally, the city expects a shipment this week of 32,775 first doses: 16,575 Pfizer vaccines, most of which will be distributed to hospitals because of the ultracold storage requirements, and 16,200 Moderna vaccines.
