Who was Lisa Shuler? Shuler, an Irondequoit resident, was 37 when she died last month. She was born in Poughkeepsie to parents Donald and Lauren Shuler. According to her obituary, Shuler was a "kind and compassionate person" who spent her career helping people in need at nursing homes throughout the Rochester region. She most recently worked at Hill Haven Rehabilitation and Transitional Care Center in Webster. She was a student at Rochester Regional Health's Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing. She was studying to become a licensed practical nurse and was set to graduate in November, according to RRH spokeswoman Veronica Chiesi Brown.
