LITCHFIELD â Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many college students have been studying remotely from home and looking for part-time work. One of those students is Litchfield resident Keegan Andrulis, 21, who studies at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. In the past few years, when he came home for the summer, he worked at nearby Arethusa Farm Dairy as a retail employee, and for the winter he worked at the Litchfield Community Center. As a result of the pandemic, neither place needs any temporary staff. âDue to COVID-19,â he said, âthe time I am home for the winter is shorter than usual, because my fall term was delayed by a month and my spring term is starting earlier than usual. This, along with my required quarantines in both Connecticut and Ireland, will make it difficult to find any employment during my break.â
