Their performance will include the following pieces: Partita No.2 for solo Violin in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach; Passacaglia for Violin & Viola by George Frideric Handel; and String Trio in G major, Op. 9 No. 1 by Ludwig Van Beethoven. Stephanie Ruddy has been playing and studying classical violin for almost 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Hartford and Suzuki Method teaching certification from the Hartt Suzuki Institute. In addition to teaching from her home in Litchfield, she is a freelance performing violinist for various orchestras and chamber groups in Connecticut, and 1st violinist at Danbury Symphony Orchestra.
