SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. â Live music is not dead at local clubs. Yes, itâs on life-support but there are venues that are hosting indoor events. In Saratoga Springs, two such places are Caffe Lena and Putnam Place. Each is working at minimum audience capacity, but they are offering live entertainment. Local promoter Greg Bell of Guthrie/Bell Productions is also producing live music in the area. The bulk of his shows are on Fridays at the Hollow in downtown Albany. He also plans to present at Putnam Place during the spring months. - Advertisement - Thatâs the good news. The bad news is that each show follows the economic law of supply and demand.
