Nottinghamshire is bracing itself for Storm Christoph which is set to batter the county with heavy rain.
Flood alerts remain in place today, Wednesday, January 20 and an amber weather warning has been issued by the Met Office from 6am today until midday on Thursday, January 21.
Forecasters have predicted heavy rainfall for the next three days and council teams and the Enivronment Agency are working on clearing drains and gullies in preparation for tonight.
