LIVE shows and cinema are returning to a South Craven venue. Glusburn Community and Arts Centre – the institute – like many other public buildings has been badly hit by the impact of the pandemic. It was closed for several months during lockdown, with planned events cancelled and groups unable to meet. But now the Colne Road premises are preparing to host events once again. A busy programme is lined-up for the coming months. “We are delighted to offer some rescheduled performances from last year – plus new shows which have been added to the programme,” said a spokesman. On June 11, there will be a socially-distanced screening of the 2020 movie Summerland.
