Temperatures will start to warm in the region Friday, but forecasters are warning residents that the danger presented by two winter storm systems this week hasn't completely passed.
The latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Jackson shows that temperatures in the Jackson area may get up to the mid 30s by Friday afternoon. In the Delta and other northwest portions of the state, residents are still not expected to get above freezing.
