LAKE COUNTY, Ore. -- In September, the State Board of Education approved a temporary rule. Districts must enact a new policy by January 1, 2021 — which Central Point, Medford, Ashland, and Lake County School districts have already enacted over that last two months.
The All Students Belong policy promises to help to ensure the safety and inclusivity of all students and staff. It requires districts to adopt and implement policies and procedures for prohibiting symbols of hate and addressing bias incidents.
