ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico women’s soccer team had a lot to celebrate tonight as they honored its six seniors on the squad for senior night and also posted a dominant 3-1 win over the Wyoming Cowgirls (2-6, 2-6 MW) at the UNM Soccer Complex. The Lobos (8-1, 8-1 MW) were led by redshirt senior Gwen Maly, who had a foot in every UNM goal on the evening, tallying two goals and an assist for a total of five points on the night. “I think anytime that you can win on senior night, it makes a win that much more special because you send six really amazing members of our program out the right way,” said head coach Heather Dyche.
