Local arts group recharged and ready to go forward : vimarsa

Punch Drunk Cabaret has proven they've got the goods to keep your toes tapping all night long, and they'll be the entertainment when the newly branded Cold Lake Entertainment & Arts Society brings them to town this May.
Judging from the society’s AGM last spring, it was safe to assume live theatre and music was alive and well in Cold Lake.  But the Cold Lake Entertainment Society announced in late November the doors to the Grand Parlour Theatre were closing at the end of January, and the five-night sold-out run of the musical comedy “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” in December would be the last.
