He says he’s stepping down for health reasons. “I want to take advantage of the time that I have and try to spend it with my family and enjoy my last few years. We’ll see how it works out,” Parris says in an interview with KPVI. Parris was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012. Despite ongoing treatment, Parris tells EastIdahoNews.com the cancer is under control and he’s feeling great.
