(WHEC) — According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, fully vaccinated people can now gather indoors, without masks and social distancing, in certain settings. In those new guidelines that were released Monday, CDC officials called it a "first step" toward restoring normalcy in how people come together. "In their immediate household in a private setting, if everyone in that setting has been fully vaccinated, then it would be ok for people to hug and take off the mask,” Rochester Regional Health Infectious Disease Expert Dr. Emil Lesho said. Being at home is one thing, but, this new guideline does not extend outside your front door.
