A family in Massachusetts is celebrating a very special moment with local firefighters.
The Whitman Fire Department received a 911 call just before 4 a.m. Wednesday to help a woman in labor.Sign up for our Newsletters
Firefighters walked into the home, ready to transport Erica Rodriguez and Jason McCarthy to the hospital.
They quickly realized, however, that they were not going to make it to the hospital in time, and a baby boy — Nathan McCarthy — was born inside the house just 8 minutes after the 911 call was made.
