Local heat plans and market flexibility could be vital to net zero success

A H&V News webinar considering how best to move forward with low-carbon heat heard that a vital debate must be had on how and where hydrogen and heat pumps are best utilised
 
Flexibility to be able to adopt different heating technologies in line with regional or local needs is seen as a key long-term aim for low carbon heating in the UK.
This was one of the conclusions of a special webinar, sponsored by Kensa Heat Pumps, that was held today to look at the respective roles of electric and hydrogen heating, as well as possible network solutions that make use of different fuels to help the 30 year transition to net zero homes.
