With lockdown restrictions easing on Monday, it means staycations will become easier for families who have been bereft of a holiday for the last year. While hotels and holiday parks offering shared accommodation and facilities will need to remain closed, overnight stays away from home will be permitted as long as they are taken in self-contained accommodation and used by members of the same household or support bubble. This means that many of Lancashire's caravan and camping sites can now breathe a huge sigh of relief and reopen to the public. Spending time in the countryside is an easy way to reconnect with a simple way of living and here in Lancashire there’s more than enough countryside to go around.
