NORTH PROVIDENCE – A municipal vaccine clinic will start back up in North Providence this Thursday, April 22, says Mayor Charles Lombardi, representing a significant win for the town and its residents. Lombardi said that with this vaccination clinic in operation for the next four to five weeks, twice per week after this week, he expects to have everyone in town who wants a vaccine to be vaccinated around the end of May, allowing for relative normalcy this summer. “The goal now is to get the shots out as quickly as possible so we can get back to some normalcy,” said Fire Chief John Silva, who will oversee the team administering the vaccines at North Providence High School.
