London commuters back new face mask rules at London Bridge Freedom Day commuters at London Bridge have told how they’re worried about rising Covid-rates and will continue to wear masks on trains. The majority of Covid restrictions were removed on July 19, leaving it up to rail customers to wear a face covering or not. National Rail said though it can no longer fine people for failing to wear mask, it is “expecting” them to do so in crowded places “out of respect to others and as a matter of personal responsibility”. In a statement they said: “People will need to use their own judgement, just as they will in many other settings from July 19.
