Is London a red-tailed hawk kind of city? Is it a chimney swift type of town? Or is it more of a great horned owl community?
Londoners are being asked to help choose the Forest City’s official bird in an online poll. “We’re hoping to engage citizens in picking the official city bird,” said Skylar Franke, head of the London Environmental Network.

There are eight choices on the list, all resident birds of London. “I picked the mourning dove because we have a bunch that nest in our backyard,” Franke said of her nominee for the list.
