Dartmouth Animal Control said the black cow escaped from a farm in Westport last June and repeatedly evaded capture by fleeing into wooded areas. Advertisement "Unless we get people calling us and letting us know where this cow is going, I really can't do anything," Animal Control officer Sandra Gosselin told the Dartmouth Week in June. "It's like looking for a needle in a haystack."
