LOTHIAN Buses has added extra journeys to some of its services to North Berwick High School due to an expected increase in demand after secondary pupils partially returned to the classroom this week. The changes took effect on Monday (March 15) and looked


The changes took effect today (Monday) and looked to provide extra capacity for essential journeys.
Children are asked to wear a face covering during their journey, pay contactless where possible, leave windows open and use sanitiser or wash hands before and after their journey.
Three EastCoast Buses services will bring pupils to North Berwick High School from communities further to the west.
The 125 service runs from Musselburgh Police Station to the school via Wallyford, Prestonpans, Longniddry, Aberlady and Gullane.
The morning service leaves Musselburgh at 7.26am and arrives at North Berwick High at 8.17am; it runs Monday-Friday.
There is an afternoon service Mondays-Thursdays, leaving Longniddry at 12.10pm and arriving at North Berwick High 12.41pm.
