(Photo: Amanda Smith/Quinte News) An crucial step has been taken by Prince Edward County Council to allow the development of new affordable seniors housing in Bloomfield. Last night (Wednesday) council approved a rezoning change for the former Pinecrest Memorial Elementary School property to allow the LoveSong Seniors Housing and Community Hub & Springale Developments project to get underway. When complete, the development would include 50 self-contained apartments for seniors and a hub which would feature a wellness centre and medical services.
