Plans to restore the footpath at Addison’s Walk have been submitted to city council planning chiefs. Under the plans, the college would restore the river bank, stressing that the end result would look natural. It would use 'interlocking trench sheets' filled behind with earth to bolster the banks. A design statement from the college said: "The trench sheets will sit below the mean water level and so will not be visible.
