One-week lockdown in Maharashtra's Amravati from February 22  Maharashtra: Following a weekend lockdown order, a fresh one-week complete lockdown has been ordered for Amravati district of Maharashtra, said Guardian Minister Yashomati Thakur. Excluding Achalpur city, the lockdown will remain enforced in the entire district. All essential services are permitted. The fresh order was issued on Sunday in the wake of a surge in coronavirus cases in the district.
