could be given a major makeover if plans are approved. The applicants, Legal and General, want to refurbish Star House in Grenfell Road, formerly home to Three UK, into an “attractive and sustainable” office complex. The mobile network giant, who was in Star House for 17 years, moved out of the building this March, after their lease ended to look for a “combined office space” in the Thames Valley Area. The four-storey building, which is near Maidenhead railway station, could see a new entrance lobby as a two-storey extension to the southside is proposed. A new café is also proposed facing King Street and the installation of three rooftop pavilions and terraces.
