SOUTH BERWICK, Maine – When Odd Fellows Tavern opened its doors a year ago, owners Gregg and Kristin Sessler did not anticipate the year-long challenges the pandemic would add to their new business. Ten days after opening its doors in early March 2020, the pub-style restaurant along “Odd Fellows Block” on Portland Street, was forced to close during statewide shutdowns. "We went from having a line out the door and down the street, to being forced to close after just 10 days of being open at full capacity," Gregg said. "So here we are with a brand new business that we just invested all this time, energy and money into opening. Challenge No.1 became, 'What do we do and how do we adapt to this?'"
