Majority of UO workers approve of vaccination requirement

The University of Oregon released its fall enrollment numbers on Oct. 20, 2020, in Eugene, Oregon which showed a decline in the number of students enrolled.
In early May, the University of Oregon joined other public and private universities across the U.S. in requiring a COVID-19 vaccine to live and learn on-campus this coming fall. This requirement doesn't just involve students — it also extends to employees. 
The majority of campus workers are supportive of the requirement, employee unions said, but the groups are still having to work with the UO to accommodate philosophical or medical concerns of some members, as the vaccine requirement is technically a change in working conditions.
