By Press Association 2021 Sir Richard Sutton death A 34-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering a millionaire hotelier has been released from hospital, police said. Sir Richard Sutton, who owned a string of top hotels in London, died on Wednesday during an incident at a property near Gillingham, Dorset. Dorset Police said a man in his 80s suffered fatal stab wounds at a property in Higher Langham on Wednesday evening. An initial post-mortem examination indicated that the cause of death was stab wounds to his chest, the force added. A woman in her 60s, named in reports as Sir Richard’s wife, was seriously injured in the incident and was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where she remains in a critical condition.
