A 22-year-old Martha’s Vineyard woman is dead after a man driving a 2002 Nissan SUV allegedly passed two vehicles at a high rate of speed and slammed into her 2010 Volkswagen Beetle. At about 8:08 p.m. on Saturday, Massachusetts State Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Beach Road in Tisbury. Emma Hall of Oak Bluffs was declared dead at the scene, and two female passengers in the VW — a teenager and a young adult— were transported to Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. One of the passengers was subsequently transferred to a hospital in Boston, state police said in a media release.
