EDWARDSVILLE — A Wood River man faces two felony charges after allegedly striking a Wood River High School teacher and Wood River Police Officer in November.
LaShelvy D. White, 18, of Wood River, was charged March 15 with two counts of aggravated battery, one a Class 2 felony and the other a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the Wood River Police Department.
According to court documents, on Nov. 17 White allegedly struck an East Alton High School teacher in the chest, and kneed a Wood River police officer in the groin.
