Man dies in Dover trailer home fire Sunday

A 61-year-old man died Sunday in a fire in Dover, according to the State Fire Marshal Office.
Assistant State Fire Marshal Michael Chionchio said the fire occurred shortly after 4 p.m. at a trailer home in the unit block of 10th Street near Pickering Beach Road.
When Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company arrived flames engulfed the trailer, Chionchio said. The man, who lived at the home, was pronounced dead at the scene, Chionchio said.
A 67-year-old woman was taken to Bayhealth Hospital for smoke inhalation, Chionchio said. He said she was in "stable condition."
State fire investigators are still determining the fire's origin and cause. They estimate the fire caused $20,000 in damage. American Red Cross is providing assistance to four displaced residents.
