A Timaru man who assaulted a woman twice in three days has been sentenced to community detention and supervision.
Dylan Raymond Shannon Corbin’s assaults left the woman with a split lip, bruising to her left and right side of her face, a ricked neck area, bruising on her left arm, a graze to her lower back and bruising to her left eye.
Corbin, 31, had previously pleaded guilty to two charges of assault on a person in a family relationship, theft out of a car and assaults with intent to injure when he appeared for sentencing before Judge Joanna Maze at the Timaru District Court on Tuesday.
