A MAN headbutted another man outside a supermarket then went inside to shop, a court heard. Justin Mark Haggan, aged 29, admitted assaulting Christopher Sainsbury outside Tesco in Christy's Lane, Shaftesbury at 12.30pm on June 30 last year. Prosecutor Richard Oakley told Weymouth Magistrates Court: "Mr Sainsbury was returning his trolley after shopping at the supermarket when [Haggan] approached him and headbutted him in the face while using abusive language." The court heard how after the assault, Haggan walked into the Tesco store to shop. Mr Oakley said the assault happened because Haggan claimed Mr Sainsbury had been seeing his girlfriend. Haggan refused to see a mitigating solicitor and pleaded guilty at the first opportunity.
