Man in ICU after snowmobile vs. logging truck crash Updated Feb 18, 2021; CHAMPION TOWNSHIP, MI -- A man is under intensive care at an Upper Peninsula hospital after his snowmobile collided with a logging truck this week. Michigan State Police troopers responded to the scene around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, on US-41 just east of Koski Corners in Champion Township, Marquette County. An officer with the Department of Natural Resources was first on the scene and reported that the male snowmobiler was unconscious but had a pulse. He eventually regained consciousness and was transported by ambulance to U.P. Health System Marquette hospital where he remains under intensive care.
