Man jailed for breaching Covid restrictions twice A Ramsey man’s been jailed after breaching the Island’s coronavirus restrictions for the second time. Forty-eight-year-old Justin Christopher Hughes of Parsonage Road appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse. He pleaded guilty to breaking lockdown laws between 17 January and 2 February. Prosecution advocate Rachael Braidwood told the court Hughes was jailed last September for breaking self-isolation laws. Hughes travelled from the UK to the Isle of Man on 17 January, sailing on the Ben My Chree from Heysham. He was told to self-isolate, and went back to his home – but when police went to his home to check on him, another man answered the door.
