Author: KTVB Staff Updated: 10:30 AM MST January 23, 2021 POTLATCH, Idaho — Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a 23-year-old man in Potlatch. The crash occurred early Saturday morning. At around 3 a.m., Potlatch resident Cody Woolverton was traveling west on Guernsey Cuttoff Road in a 2001 Can-Am Turbo UTV. When approaching Hatter Creek Road, Woolverton failed to navigate a right-hand corner, lost control and rolled off the southern road edge. Woolverton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. He was not wearing a helmet or seatbelt. Police believe alcohol was a factor.
