47abc February 10, 2021 PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – A Somerset County man will spend 35 years behind bars for robbing the Dollar General in Westover back in 2019. Timothy Jarvis was convicted in October 2020 of armed robbery, use of a firearm in a violent crime, and other related charges. These charges date back to June 30, 2019, when police responded to the store for a report of an armed robbery. It was reported that a man entered with a mask on, pointed the gun at the victim, hit her on the head with the gun, and demanded money. He then stole the cash from the registers and fled the scene. Other witnesses reported seeing a man run out of the store and get in a car that was parked on Fairmount Road. The vehicle then sped away from the area at a high rate of speed.
