A federal judge sentenced a man to eight years in federal prison for selling fentanyl multiple times in Nanticoke in March 2019, the United States Attorneyâs Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced Monday. Vincent Carter, 36, of Nanticoke, will serve 96 months in prison followed by a three-year term of supervised release, U.S. District Court Judge Malachy E. Mannion ruled. In addition to the undercover drug sales, authorities found additional amounts of fentanyl and narcotics packaging during a search of Carterâs residence and car, investigators said. The case was investigated by the Kingston Police Department, the Nanticoke Police Department and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
