View Comments A 28-year-old man was being treated for his gunshot wounds after being shot in Wilmington Tuesday night, marking the city's second such incident and third person to be injured by gunplay that evening. Wilmington Police were dispatched to investigate a shooting that occurred about 9:35 p.m. in the 1300 block of Wilson St. Police said the man was stable when he arrived at a hospital. No other details about the shooting were provided. "This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible," the department's press release stated. This shooting in Wilmington's East Side neighborhood occurred a little more than two hours after two men were shot about a mile away in the city's Brandywine Village community.
