Man suffers gunshot wound to foot in Webster parking lot confrontation A man sustained a minor gunshot wound to his foot Sunday night, police said. The shooting was not a random act and there doesn't appear to be a threat to the community, Police Chief Michael D. Shaw said Tuesday. The shooter remains at large. Investigators are looking into whether the shooting was a dispute about narcotics, Shaw said. It occurred about 9:45 p.m. The victim's friends drove him to Harrington Healthcare at Webster. The victim, a man in his late 30s from Connecticut, was uncooperative with investigators, according to Shaw. However, police developed what Shaw described to be "viable leads" in its continuing investigation.
