Ryan Billington, who was a first aider for Emergency Training UK (ETUK), was at the Arena on the night of the attack and helped with the aftermath. He is due to be followed by retired superintendent Leor Giladi, formerly of GMP, who had a leading role in counter terrorism training and also formulating Operation Plato, the plan put in place in the event of a marauding terror attack.
