As COVID-19 cases continue to surge in Manitoba First Nations communities, prompting military intervention for some, one has announced it will be allowing holiday visits — under strict regulations.
As COVID-19 cases continue to surge in Manitoba First Nations communities, prompting military intervention for some, one has announced it will be allowing holiday visits — under strict regulations.
In a news release Friday, Peguis (Manitoba’s largest First Nation community) said it would be extending its local lockdown until Jan. 8 at midnight, but outlined "holiday relaxed days" around Christmas and New Year’s Eve to allow families to gather.
