Hotel group Mantis has announced that it has partnered with Bench, a conference and online event specialist to create a new green screen facility called The Studio, located at the Draycott in Chelsea, London. Reopening its doors on 1 July 2021, the Draycott Hotel by Mantis has transformed one of its hotel suites to house the new digital studio which features a self-standing green screen and green screen vinyl flooring, LED video lights, video camera with tripod, monitor for live viewing, Apple Mac Mini for ATEM control and streaming via browser or Wirecast, microphones, mixing desk and visual mixers. Paul Gardiner, CEO of the Mantis group, said: “It was essential for us to transform one of the suites at the Draycott Hotel and work with an experienced partner to create an innovative digital space. The newly available green screen and broadcasting facility ensures the hotel offers a safe environment to meet the remote communication, production and digital engagement needs of today’s event planners. The studio is a permanent fixture, we welcome local businesses and are ready for the reopening of London’s MICE industry.”
