Marcus Lemonis gives Zingerman’s $50k to feed the community

ANN ARBOR, MI -- People looking for a bite to eat this winter will have a chance to stop by a shelter to pick up a meal thanks to a celebrity donation.
CNBC’s The Profit host Marcus Lemonis runs the “Plating Change” program, a mission to help small businesses connect with those in need in the community by working with organizations and his celebrity friends to help support local restaurants.
Lemonis, along with journalist Maria Shriver and her sons Patrick and Christopher Schwarzenegger, called Zingerman’s Co-Founder Ari Weinzweig in December 2020 to prepare and deliver 5,000 sandwiches to anyone in need.
