Mariner East Pipeline Called 'Nuisance' In Chesco D.A.'s Lawsuit

WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County's D.A. has taken a step to force compliance with the law for those installing the Mariner East pipeline, whom a lawsuit alleges are creating a public nuisance and health risk here.
A Chester County District Attorney's Office complaint just filed alleges Energy Transfer LP and its subsidiaries have created ongoing and continuing public nuisances in their pipeline system construction, and that their activities violated their Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PaDEP) work permits, the Constitution of Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law.
