Maryland offers state employees $100 to get vaccinated

Maryland will offer a $100 financial incentive to state employees who get vaccinated against COVID-19, Gov. Larry Hogan's office announced Monday.
The program includes state employees who have already been vaccinated. Those who have received their doses can present proof of vaccination to receive the incentive.
State employees must also agree to receive any CDC-recommended booster shots in the next 18 months. Employees who refuse booster shots during that time will be required to repay the $100.
Hogan's office said the state Department of Budget and Management is working with state employee unions to implement the incentive program.
