Mashpee Town Hall Reopens To The Public After A Year OF COVID Closure

Mashpee Town Hall reopened to the public on Tuesday, June 1, for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic prompted the building to close more than a year ago on March 23, 2020.
A steady flow of residents filtered in and out of the building around noon on Tuesday, purchasing beach and transfer stickers and attending to business in-person as town staff worked in their various departments.
“Overall, I've been very pleased with the way staff and, for that matter, the public have been able to adjust to life as it has been for the past year and a half,” Town Manager Rodney C. Collins said. “We dealt with it, we adjusted to it, and I appreciate the patience with staff as well as the public.”
